Mrs Emily Killick

Emily got in touch back in May for me to do her Wedding hair. From Day one Emily was an absolute pleasure to be around. So laid back about how she wanted her hair, we tried a few styles and she picked the one she liked.

Emily was getting married in the Stunning Alexander House. I made my way on the beautiful morning of 30th September, the grounds all looking beautiful. I went up to Emily’s Bridal suite which was huge, such a gorgeous room. Emily and her Bridesmaids were all there waiting to be pampered for the day. Emily was super chilled and the morning went perfect. I had a wonderful view of one of the gardens…..

I started by doing hair for the Bridesmaids….

And then started on Emily’s hair. I’m so glad Emily went for this specific style, it just look amazing with her dress on!

The clip fit all snug to the style too! Time for Emily to do her makeup and I did Mother in law to be’s hair….

Then it was time for lots of pictures!

Doesn’t she look stunning?! The dress was out of this world! Lots of beautiful detail so the hair was perfectly simple but the clip just tops it off!

Thanks so much for having me to do all your hair for your special day Emily! I absolutely loved it :).

Wishing Mr & Mrs Killick a very happy future together x

Mrs Charlie Mills

I was recommended to the lovely Charlie by Makeup Artist Melissa Lilly Sharp. We arranged a trial for 10th March and she brought along her Maid of Honour for her opinion too.

Charlie was very laid back but knew exactly what she wanted for the day. It always helps when a Bride has a vision of how they want to look.

Charlie was getting married on Saturday 22nd September. I arrived with Melissa Lilly sharp bright and early to get everyone wedding hair and makeup ready! The whole house was SO calm and quiet! But I could see towards the end that the nerves were kicking in. Charlie’s lovely Mum & Dad rallied around offering everyone teas and coffee and Charlie’s Dad even did a Mcdonalds Breakfast run for us all (& it was his birthday- what a legend!).

All the styles were perfect for the Bridesmaids, Maid of Honour and Mother of the Bride, I really enjoyed having each of them in the chair. 3 Bridesmaids HairMaid of Honour (no donut used) Mother of the Bride

And finally it was time to finish off Charlie’s Hair. Charlie bought some diamontés to go through her style with her veil.

It was time to then get the dress on! And did she look stunning or what?! I absolutely loved the colour Charlie chose for her dress and Melissa did such a beautiful job on Charlie’s blue smoky eyes, it all just went lovely together!

It looked like Charlie had an amazing wedding day hence the downpour of rain we had that day. The videos of her Father/Daughter dance are absolutely amazing, you can see where she gets her moves from!

Charlie and Tobe, Mr & Mrs Mills, wishing you a lifetime of Happiness together!

Thankyou for choosing me to do all the hair x

Mrs Sophie Musgrave

Where to even start with Miss Sophie! I feel like I’ve known this little whirlwind all my life! She contacted me back in August 2017 regarding Wedding Hair and we got her all booked in for her wedding in September 2018.

In the meantime Sophie became one of my Lash clients too and we built up a lovely friendship in this time. We would talk all things wedding and how much Sophie loves my Beagle Lola, in fact I’m known as “Lola’s Mum” to Sophie’s hubby! I also got to know Sophie’s lovely Mum Georgia, Sister Lauren and Mother in law to be Lorraine from Hair trials or from doing their lashes for occasions.

Sophie’s trial went really well, we did that in January this year and all styles would have been perfect for the dress but the one Sophie chose was made for her!

I had the pleasure of doing Sophie’s Gel nails and Lashes for her special day too, along with her Mum and Mother in law’s.

I arrived at the stunning Nutfield Priory on the 15th September, the weather was lovely blue skies and Sophie’s room was filled with all her fave ladies! As I walked in, Sophie wanted to show me her dress which was out of this world. She lifted the underneath to show me a beautiful embroidery sewn into it of her Father’s handwriting. Sophie’s dad sadly passed away when she was younger so to have his handwriting and mark on her dress I could tell meant the world to her. Such a lovely thought!

Everyone was in good spirits, I even went down with them all to breakfast and had a coffee while they lined their stomachs for the day ahead :). Sophie was super calm and took everything in of the whole morning.

It was time to get the dress on finally and Wow, did she look phenomenal!

Sophie had a great team of suppliers on hand that day with Amanda of AS Bridal on makeup, Dominic Smith Photography snapping away and the fabulous Gardenia of London on flowers, which is Sophie’s Brothers family business from which her father started, that’s to list but a few of the great suppliers Sophie & Greg had involved on the day!

I even got some wedding cake delivered by lovely Sophie a few days later which was stunning!

Sophie & Greg, Mr & Mrs Musgrave, Thankyou for having me and I wish you lots of love, luck and happiness for your future together! X

Holly Watson

Holly contacted me after Jenna Marie Makeup Artistry recommended me to her. Recommendations and word of mouth have been absolutely amazing for me and my business over the past 3 years.

Holly opted out of a Trial for both Hair and Makeup. Trials I feel are quite important to get to know the person’s hair, what will work, and what won’t.

I arrived at Holly’s mother’s beautiful home early on the morning of 8th September. The house was very calm and I started by Pin curling Holly’s hair and then working on her friend’s hair. Then the rest of the family arrived to get their hair done. Busy morning but it all went well and everybody was ready on time! Holly chose a style with a plait to one side but we agreed that her hair was too thin for the plait, so we went for some nice twists instead. Jenna was on makeup duties and did an amazing job in getting them all looking even more stunning!

Wishing you and your Husband lots of Luck & Happiness in your marriage! X

Beverley Thring

Beverley and I met through the lovely Melissa Lilly sharp (MUA), as Beverley needed a Hairstylist for her wedding. We did a trial back in July, super hot day but the trial was quick and Beverley had decided on her style for the big day.

Beverley was so laid back about the whole thing which is so lovely and makes our job a lot better. Before her Wedding, Beverley decided on a change of style which was one of my more popular styles and it just went amazing with her lovely dark hair!

On the 30th August, myself and Melissa Lilly Sharp who was doing all the makeup, made our way to the stunning venue which is Buxted Park Hotel. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we had a lovely big room to get everyone ready in. The atmosphere was so calm and Beverley was super chilled about the whole morning. I had the Bride, 2 Bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom to do hair for.

Both Bridesmaids had the same style and both mums went for a simple Blow dry with volume.

Here Beverley went for a gorgeous twisted Updo which looked amazing on her dark glossy locks!

It was a pleasure to be part of your wedding morning Beverley! I wish you and your lovely little family lots of happiness for the future!

Congratulations x

Mrs Katie Harrhy

I was contacted by one of Katie’s friends looking for a stylist to do her wedding hair as Katie had been let down by the original lady she booked.

We booked her in for a trial and went through some styles. Katie went for a classic style with a modern twist and was great on her hair to make it look thicker too. She told me she was having a Man of honour and I thought that was such a lovely idea!

The day came around super quick, I went to Katie’s gorgeous home in Pound Hill on the 24th August to get her and her mum wedding hair ready! It was so relaxed and I really enjoyed talking to Katie’s mum, dad and Man of honour, Thankyou for making me so welcome!

Katie’s mum has beautiful hair and I instantly loved how she had twisted the front to keep her hair off her face, so we kept that in the style and did a bun in the back.

Katie had made a start on her makeup and then it was time for me do her wedding hair. She had changed the hair extensions we used in the trial which made the style quite bulky to start with but no problem, I unpinned and cut the extensions down so it wasn’t so big. This style really suited Katie’s thin hair and she looked absolutely breathtaking when she came down in her dress. A true classic, beautiful bride, ready to get married!

Wishing Mr & Mrs Harrhy all the best in their future together! X

Mrs Petronela Loftus

The beautiful Petronela was pointed in my direction after I did her lovely friend Lauren’s Wedding hair last year. You can’t beat word of mouth, so I was really excited to be able to do Petronela’s wedding hair, along with her Mother, Mother In Law & Bridesmaids.

We did a trial in the school holidays as Petronela is a school teacher. This went amazing and she decided to book Lashes and Gel nails with me before her big day too! Petronela is so laid back and such a warm lovely person to be around.

The week came around so quick as with all the weddings this year. Petronela came for some 3d lash extensions and Gel nails for her big day which was an absolute pleasure to do. We chatted about the wedding and I knew this lady had it all under control!

Next stop, The wedding………

It was Thursday 9th August, I arrived at Copthorne Hotel to get Petronela, the mums and Bridesmaids wedding hair ready. The weather wasn’t great, but that was no biggy for this super chilled Bride to be!

The room was calm, with lots of laughter and chats which made the morning go by very quick!

Petronela went for a dutch braid Chignon style which just looked so beautiful with her veil, slide and the dress!

The Bridesmaids all went for different styles but all had plaits/braids incorporated into their styles to match Petronela which I thought was a lovely touch.

And here is the Bride, looking absolutely Beautiful……

It was an absolute pleasure to be your Wedding Hairstylist, Lash technician and Nail technician for your special day!

Wishing you and your Husband a Lifetime of Love & Happiness x

MRS HOULSTON

I was first contacted by the beautiful Bex in January 2017. Her lovely mum Carol had bought her a voucher to have Eyelash Extensions done by me. I knew from when we first met that Bex was my kinda gal! We had similar life stories and there is just a day between us!…….So in March, Bex picked me to do her Wedding hair :).

We booked trials in for April 2017 which all went well…….but with different trends and me creating a certain texturised style, Bex was in love with it, so we changed her style to that and it couldn’t have gone better with her final look!

Between the time we waited on the Wedding to come around I had Bex in numerous times for Lashes and Hair, including her lovely daughter Maiya who loves cookies! Haha! Maiya is her mum’s double and is a natural at applying makeup at such a young age. I always enjoy having these ladies in, always lots of laughs.

The wedding came around really quick! A few days before I did Bex some lovely 3D Eyelash Extensions. That was it, next stop, wedding day……

I arrived at Best Log Cabin situated on Green Lane Farm in Newdigate on the morning of Saturday 4th August 2018. This place literally blew me away! What a stunning location to stay and get ready for your wedding. I was so excited to get inside and get started!

Isn’t it beautiful?! A gorgeous log cabin on a LAKE! The weather was beautiful, the lake peaceful and the Bride to be was chilled but could see every now and then the nerves kicking in!

I started doing Carol’s hair (Bex Mum), I just added some volume and twists to the ends of her hair with it being short and it looked perfect with her fascinator. I fell in love with her beautiful dress!

Then it was Maiya’s turn for her style! This was again a look that could look classic or rustic. Hair was curled before and then plaited and pinned in place with some pieces to frame her face to keep it soft.

The gorgeous Flower Girls were next in the chair! We went for a plait up the back of their hair and a nice big bun!

It was time for the Bride to get ready as time started to pass……

The Gyp really set off all of the styles and is just perfect for a Barn wedding. I’m so glad Bex went for this style.

The hair was complete and Bex had called on the amazing and talented Jennie West Seamstress and her Fairy Godmother service, so not only did she make alterations to the dresses for Bex’s wedding, she came along on the day to make sure Bex was in her dress properly and was comfortable. Please check Jennie’s page out under (Jennie West Seamstress) as this service is great and I only wish I had her on my wedding day! Here she is below sorting out the necklace.

Time for the grand reveal to her Mum and Daughter……

Then Gifts all around…..

Time to go and marry your Prince……

Doesn’t she look Stunning?!

Bex, I have absolutely loved being on this journey with you. Getting to know you has been amazing, you are truly a Good Egg. (Eventhough you hate my taste in cheesy pop music! Ha!)

I wish you and Tom all the best for the future, filled with lots of Love, Luck and Happiness! X

Mrs Vanessa Curtis

The lovely Vanessa first contacted me in July 2017. She had seen my work on Instagram and liked it so decided to book her wedding hair with me :).

We arranged a trial for Sunday 25th March. Vanessa arrived with her mum and it was lovely to hear a northern accent, Vanessa is from St Helens not far from Liverpool.

The trial went really well and with the look Vanessa was going for the style she picked could not have been more perfect!

Vanessa was getting married in the stunning Nutfield Priory where I have done a wedding before and have lots more coming up, so I was excited to visit again.

We had had some beautiful weather in the run up to Vanessa’s big day, but sadly on the 29th July it decided to rain, a LOT! Vanessa had a Horse drawn carriage booked to take her and her dad out for a ride, her Bridesmaids decided to talk her into doing it anyway regardless of the weather. Vanessa seemed so excited on the morning, she was in good spirits and looking forward to marrying her Prince.

Her hair went even more perfect on the day than it did at the Trial (this is always the case) and I couldn’t wait to see her in her dress!

We went for a classic Chignon style with a bit of added volume and Vanessa’s headband went perfectly into it.

Time for some bubbly…..

It was finally time to get the dress on…….

Doesn’t she look beautiful?! Like a real life Disney Bride! She then received a gift from her Husband to be…..

There were a few tears, but then it was time to get the bouquet out….

It was nearly time to leave for the Horse & Carriage so we all took lots of piccies. Here are mine that I took and edited…..

Vanessa, you looked absolutely magical on your special day!

Wishing Mr & Mrs Curtis lots of Love and Luck for the future & Thankyou for choosing me to get you Wedding hair ready x

Mrs Kayleigh White.

Kayleigh contacted me in May 2017 about doing her hair for her wedding day in July 2018, so was very happy that I could do that date for her.

We arranged a trial for May and it was so lovely to meet Kayleigh as we had been messaging back and forth for a while. From talking to Kayleigh I knew that she liked changing her hair colour quite a bit…..just like me! And the colour she ended up going for the wedding was amazing to show off the detail of the style! I fell in love with the beautiful red copper colour, it was so shiny and glossy!

I arrived at Kayleigh’s Mum’s house in Broadfield on the 28th July at 11am, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, sunny with a slight breeze. Kayleigh was sat looking very calm, getting her makeup done by the amazing talented makeup artist that is Melissa Lilly Sharp.

I started by curling Kayleigh’s hair and then started the style. The style was a dutch braid fanned out to look thick and then I added volume and styled into a bun with loose curls coming from it.

The Bun was texturised giving it a more relaxed romantic look. Kayleigh’s tiara was absolutely stunning, a real statement tiara and it went perfect with her whole look!

And then just like that Kayleigh was Wedding ready and looking absolutely beautiful! She went off in an amazing Mustang to marry her Prince!

Wishing you lots of Love & Happiness in your Marriage Mr & Mrs White! X
