Kirstie contacted me in January saying that her friend Jenna (aka Jenna Marie Makeup Artistry) had been singing my praises, you will see me talk a lot about Jenna in other blogs as we get to work together a lot on weddings!
We arranged a trial for Kirstie & Jenna (who was a Bridesmaid) for the end of February. Kirstie knew that she 100% wanted a wide plait side do, so I worked my magic and we got it first try! Yay!
For the Bridesmaids we went for something on trend but that had a little twist to tie in with Kirstie’s hair.
Kirstie had a lot of worry over the condition of her hair as she was trying to go blonde in a short amount of time. There was panic as to wether we would need to change her Bridal style but all was perfect in the end.
A few days before the wedding Kirstie came and had some Classic eyelash extensions done and throughout everything she was so super organised and laid back!
The night before the wedding I went to Ghyll cottage where Kirstie, her 5 bridesmaids and mum were staying. I decided to pincurl their hair the night before to save time in the morning as they were having an early wedding. It was such a lovely atmosphere, Pincurls and Prosecco went down a treat, with happy tears from the bride to be getting gifts and cards from her friends.
Kirstie’s big day was finally here- Saturday 5th May 2018. Myself and my assistant Gail Hodges arrived at the cottage nice and early to start styling hair. Everybody was excited and in good spirits and I couldn’t wait to recreate the styles we had chosen at her trial.
The styling went well and even though Kirstie was worried about the condition of her hair it looked amazing!
The dutch braid fanned out perfect and the curls were beautiful and bouncy. Jenna then worked her magic on Kirstie’s makeup.
The Bridesmaid’s hair were finished off with some fresh gypsophila, and it was time to get those dresses on……..
Didnt they all look so beautiful?!
Wishing Mr & Mrs Stow lots of love, luck & happiness for the future! Thankyou for choosing me to be a part of your wedding morning, it was a pleasure! X
